If you want to see some beautiful watch straps made out vintage swiss ammo pouches then check out www.DaLucaStraps.com. Some of the leather is from 1913 and up....each strap is 1 of a kind and handmade. There is also a return policy in case you dont like it when you receive it and we pay shipping both ways if you are not happy, so you have nothing to lose.

Check out JPH straps. James (in Australia) does some fantastic work! He has just finished a 22x22 pilot strap for me, with pre-V buckle, made of ostrich leg. Contrasting stitching and a lovely cognac colour. It's going on a flieger with the Type 2 dial and 9-eater with a sandblasted case. The combination will be a killer. It seems we flieger enthusiasts are as much into straps as the Panerai folks! And it's all good. Truth to tell, if I hadn't decided upon ostrich I would have gone with an ammo strap. It was a tossup between "aged military" look and exotic, and exotic won out... go figure hah hah!

Thanks for your comment. Panerai equals straps :) Strap companies and 'market' are still popping up like mushrooms for the Paneristi.

The after-market strap market for Panerai's is truly amazing. I can think of no other brand with such a robust strap market. I am always interested in seeing what someone will think of next! Thanks for sharing.
