For a good cause, namely that of the Malpelo Flora and Fauna Sanctuary, Jaeger-LeCoultre is auctioning the Prototype No1 of their Memovox Tribute to Deep Sea “LeCoultre Spécial Amérique 1959” commemorative edition. A divers watch with an alarm (hence the Memovox naming) that could – and still can – be used by divers to notify them that it is time to go back to the surface.

Like the original 1959 Geophysic model, this comtemporary re-edition is water-resistant to 10 bar (100 meters) and  a plexi crystal on top. Jaeger-LeCoultre’s in-house movement caliber 956 is ticking inside.

This auction will be held on-line and bidding is open from April 18th 12:00 CET to April 21st 18:00 CET. Jaeger-LeCoultre expects that there will be a lot of competition to ‘win’ this Memovox Tribute Deep Sea Prototype.
