The co-axial escapement seems to get more props now than it did when it just came out in those limited DeVille watches (with all the printing on the dial :-)). Omega needs to drop the marketing rubbish with tennisstars, moviestars, models etc (is there any difference between the mentioned categories) because when they seriously start to use some great inventions and innovations, the people who care about such changes don’t notice them because of all marketing blahblah. On the other hand, how large is the group of Omega buyers that cares for such things like co-axial escapements compared to the group who buy them because they just think they are nice watches?
This goes for a lot of brands ofcourse.

Personnally the coax is a great success.I think that if it used for chronometrical competition, it would have a huge success rate.
