If you are a fan of the Fratello On Air podcast, first of all, thank you. Your support means a lot to us all, who sit down week after week to research, record, edit, and put out new episodes for your listening pleasure. I consume a lot of podcasts myself, so I know how it feels when my phone notifies me about a new episode from one of my favorite channels.

But we do want to evolve the show, so we came up with the idea for the “Meet The…” podcast series. Today, we’re bringing you an exciting inaugural episode highlighting the exceptional career of David Cerrato from HYT.

What can you expect from the series?

If you’ve been a part of the watch community for a while, you may know Davide’s name, or at least his work. In recent times, he has worked with brands such as Montblanc, Panerai, and Tudor, and he’s responsible for the iconic Black Bay line, among other things. He is a watch designer, after all. In the first “Meet The…” episode, we’ll hear his story and introduce the position of a watch designer to you, our dear listeners.

The idea for our new “Meet The…” series is simple. In every episode, we’ll feature another job or position in and around the watch industry or community. We’ll chat with watchmakers, owners of strap ateliers, CEOs, collectors, and researchers. It’s going to be fun, and hopefully, highly informative.
