This afternoon, I was in Gerard’s watch shop browsing through some watch magazines, and I really was amazed when I saw this Bell & Ross advertisement. I love their watches (in general), and I think when you do a search on Bell & Ross on Fratello, you should be able to find some articles. I love their Vintage 126 model and their Space models, which are more or less based on Sinn watches.

Anyway, Bell & Ross released this new model. Inspired by aviation instruments, and it shows ofcourse.

I am not a big fan of aviation instruments, so this watch goes beyond imagination of how it would look on my wrist. I can praise Bell & Ross for their designs and originality, but I wonder how much they are going to sell of these…

    I like it……

On the dial it should say Bell&Ross by Sinn, like they use to have…..

  2. Robert-Jan Broer says:

I guess the “by Sinn” was as long on the dial as Sinn had some money in B&R :-)

A intresting watch only a pitty that it’s almost an exact copy of the watch Rudi Meyer designed for LIP back in the 1970′s.

I like it, and I don’t find true the statement “exact copy”. It’s similar but not an exact copy

Never said it was an exact copy. I said it’s “almost an exact copy”. The basic principals of the design are very much the same, only B&R gives them a very specific militairy kind of look, while the design by Rudi Meyer is almost typical for the 1970′s.
