Just in time to start celebrating the most wonderful time of the year, Nomos Glashütte drops its third run of limited-edition Club Sport Worldtimer models. Both the Roam and Reverie feature champagne-colored dials, but the color accents differ: the Roam showcases sky-blue and green accents, while the Reverie has touches of yellow and red. Each model is limited to 175 numbered pieces.

Earlier this year, Nomos unveiled the Club Sport Neomatik Worldtimer at Watches and Wonders. The brand launched the line with two standard models and six 175-piece limited editions. The watches have a 40mm steel case with a 9.9mm profile and a 48mm lug-to-lug measurement. The colorful dials impressed with their vibrancy and depth, as they are stepped, featuring slightly recessed sub-dials at 3 o’clock and 6 o’clock. Furthermore, they each feature a recessed city ring with codes for 24 time zones on its perimeter. Cleverly integrated into the minute track are the offsets from UTC in those time zones. The central hour and minute hand display the local time. Then, the sub-dial at 3 o’clock displays the home time on a 24-hour scale, accompanied by a day/night indication. Back in October, the limited-edition Night Navigation Series appeared. Now it’s time for the Roam and Reverie LEs.

The champagne-dialed limited edition Club Sport Worldtimer Roam and Reverie

The Roam and Reverie have all the technical characteristics of the previously launched models. So underneath both champagne-colored dials, you will find the caliber DUW 3202. The automatic caliber operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour, has 37 jewels, and offers a 42-hour power reserve. The DUW 3202 was fully designed, developed, manufactured, and assembled at the brand’s manufacturing plant in Glashütte, Germany. Visible through the sapphire crystal is a skeletonized rotor, blued screws, Glashütte stripes, and perlage finishing.

Now on to what’s new. The Club Sport Worldtimer Reverie (ref. 790.S11) features a soft-colored dial that resembles a glass of fine champagne. The yellow and red details give the watch a hint of a ’70s vibe, which is further accentuated by the 20mm brown Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan leather strap. If you don’t drink too much of the bubbly stuff, you will find that the 24 city codes on the ring around the dial are pretty easy to read. The practicality extends to the second time zone, displayed on a 24-hour sub-dial with a day–night indicator, allowing you to call up your friends when the clock strikes midnight in their time zone on December 31st.

More champagne!

The Club Sport Worldtimer Roam (ref. 790.S10) has everything the Reverie has, but it features mostly sky-blue and some green and orange and green details and comes with a black leather strap. And just like the Reverie, the Roam is a limited edition of 175 pieces. Both watches also share the retail price of €3,940 / US$5,190.

What do you think? Are these Nomos Club Sport Neomatik Worldtimers New Year party pieces or what?
