Photo Report: Fratello × Breitling Event In Enschede
Last week, we hosted the Fratello × Breitling event at Koelink Jewelers in Enschede, a city in the eastern part of the Netherlands, very close to Germany. This event was not only to celebrate the opening of the Breitling boutique there but also to highlight all the amazing Breitling releases from 2025.

Breitling boutique in Enschede
The Breitling boutique is part of Koelink, a family-owned business dating back to 1895. Hosting the event at this location was nostalgic for me, as I was born in this city (I can still talk with the typical dialect on request), and my family still lives in the area. Not only that, but it was actually at this very jeweler where my mother bought me my first proper watch as a graduation gift. Additionally, I have a signet ring that was purchased at this jeweler in the late 1990s. It wasn’t a Breitling watch I got from Koelink in 1998, but I remember visiting the boutique often in those days and also gazing at the extensive Breitling collection on display. I probably also have some old Breitling brochures in my collection that I got there.
In 2025, Breitling opened a boutique with Koelink in this city. It’s a beautiful shop in the typical Breitling style, with brick walls, steel and wood displays, propellers, and other Breitling “props” you will find in other Breitling boutiques as well.
Full house at the Breitling event
After a word of welcome by Breitling Netherlands’ director Jan-Paul ten Hoopen and me, we highlighted Breitling’s iconic Navitimer, Premier, and Superocean collections. Additionally, Jan-Paul ten Hoopen showcased some of the new Breitling lines to the guests.
The guests also brought in some very nice watches, which you can see below in the photos taken by our photographer, Max van der Veer.

Watch spotting
Max captured some wrists during the evening, including some non-Breitling watches. Of course, we don’t discriminate; all watch enthusiasts are welcome!
A big thank you to the Breitling Netherlands staff, Koelink Jewelers, and all the guests who attended the evening. Our next Breitling event (with a golden theme) will be hosted on November 28th. You can sign up here.
