Czapek Introduces A New Antarctique Collection In Titanium
Watches and Wonders 2026 hasn’t officially kicked off yet, but the announcements are already here! Fans of Czapek and its popular Antarctique collection will be happy with today’s news. We also feel that it will attract new collectors. Titanium is the focus, and the brand uses it in good measure across a trio of Antarctique models.
Since its introduction in 2020, the Antarctique has become a mainstay among integrated-bracelet watches. An attractive design, independent ownership, and an evolving catalog have also kept it relevant. In 2023, Czapek introduced a titanium model called the Dark Sector with a gray dial. Today’s announcement carries on with this theme but adds Cosmic Blue as the hue. Plus, there are two other models along for the ride.
The Czapek Antarctique Titanium Dark Sector Cosmic Blue
The first new Antarctique is the Dark Sector, featuring a Cosmic Blue dial with a velouté (velvety) finish. The watch has a Grade 5 titanium exterior and is available in either 38.5 × 42.8mm or 40.5 × 44.5mm sizes. Both share a 10.6mm thickness and a water resistance rating of 12 atm. Like the 2023 model, the dial consists of two concentric rings with 12 segments inspired by bridges on the watch’s automatic movement.
Within the case lies the brand’s SXH5 micro-rotor caliber, ticking at 28,800 vibrations per hour and providing a 60-hour power reserve. It also features dark, sandblasted plates and bridges, polished facets, and a weighty platinum oscillating rotor.
Alongside the Grade 5 titanium bracelet, the Antarctique Titanium Dark Sector Cosmic Blue will come with a dial-matching blue rubber strap. Czapek will produce 25 of the larger pieces and 10 of the smaller ones, and each will retail for CHF 32,000.
The Czapek Antarctique Révélation Titanium Cosmic Blue
For the next new Antarctique, Czapek has given the Révélation the titanium and Cosmic Blue treatment too. Here again, the watch is Grade 5 titanium, available in 40.5mm and 38.5mm diameters, and supplied with a bracelet and blue rubber strap. This model has a fully openworked dial with a bird’s-eye view of the hacking mechanism and escapement. Despite the fragile details, the watch also boasts a water resistance rating of 12 atm.
The SXH7 uses the same base architecture as the SXH5 and has similar specifications. Unlike the former movement, though, this watch powers a sub-seconds register. Czapek will produce 50 of the larger model and 25 of the 38.5mm edition annually. Pricing is slightly elevated at CHF 42,000.
The Czapek Antarctique Tourbillon Titanium Cosmic Blue
The final new Antarctique is a Cosmic Blue version of last year’s Tourbillon. This 40.5mm titanium piece contains a bright blue hand-guilloché dial. Of note are the distinctive bridges on the dial. One bisects it, while the other is suspended above the barrel. A tourbillon cage is visible on the lower portion. Here again, Czapek has made this watch to be worn. As a result, it has a water resistance rating of 5 atm.
The movement is the brand’s automatic caliber 9 with 100 hours of power reserve and a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour. Its distinctive 5N gold oscillating rotor has been manually engraved by Michèle R, an independent master engraver. Czapek will make 25 pieces of the Cosmic Blue Tourbillon with a list price of CHF 67,000.
Final notes
With these latest releases, Czapek has embraced two popular trends in watchmaking. Titanium cases are all the rage right now, and blue continues to be the hottest hue. While these certainly aren’t high-volume offerings, we expect that they’ll be well received. Let us know your thoughts on these pieces and if they hit the mark.
