Fratello Talks: The Best Watches Under €2,500 In 2025
Today, we’re looking at some of the best watches under €2,500 in production right now. This is one of the most contested price points in the watch market, though many brands that previously operated in it have slowly but surely priced themselves out. That said, a handful of microbrands, both new and old, have made sure not to leave this bracket empty. Nacho, Thomas, and Daan have each selected a handful of favorites at this price. These include some from mainstream brands and several less obvious picks from smaller ones. As we have limited the picks to just three each, there are also some honorable mentions, but it’s by no means an exhaustive exploration of all the great watches available below the €2.5K price point. So tune in, check out their picks, and let us know yours in the comments. Before we jump in, it’s time for a wrist check.

We kick things off with Daan, who’s wearing his vintage Seiko 6105-8000. This underappreciated vintage Seiko is as charming as it gets. With a matte black dial and oversized applied markers filled with tan tritium, it has everything that makes a vintage diver great.
Thomas is still rocking the VPC Type 37HW in its Dove Grey colorway. As the VPC diver continues to slowly progress, he’s getting closer and closer to being able to wear a different watch!
Speaking of vintage divers, Nacho is joining Daan with his very own, the Caravelle Sea-Hunter. Interestingly, it’s also a Japanese-made dive watch, but this one is powered by a Citizen movement.
Fratello Talks: The Best Watches Under €2,500 In 2025
As we mentioned already, the sub-€2,500 price point is a highly contested one, containing countless excellent watches. In today’s episode, we feature just a handful, but to Nacho, Thomas, and Daan, these are the best. Opinions will always vary, so let us know your favorites in the comments below. For now, let’s take a look at one pick from each of the guys’ lists. We’ll start with Thomas, who selected the Lorca Model No.1 GMT you see above. It’s a thoughtfully designed watch that combines the elegance of mid-century design with GMT functionality and modern specs.
One of Daan’s picks is the Mido Multifort 8 Two Crowns, a slim and sporty integrated-bracelet watch with (as the name indicates) two crowns. One is for setting the time and date, and the other controls the internal rotating bezel. For the price, it provides a mix of functions and aesthetics that are hardly anything in the price category can match.
And finally, Nacho opted for the new Serica 5303 PLD. This is Serica’s latest dive watch. The brand designed it in collaboration with the French Navy’s clearance divers. With a unique no-deco scale on the bezel and a new shade of dark blue ceramic, it’s a great addition to Serica’s current lineup and certainly offers a lot at its price point.
