Dutch-Swedish watch brand MAEN has released their second model on Kickstarter and the campaign was fully funded in a little over a week. With only a few days left, it might be worthwhile to check out the different options that are still available against a reduced Kickstarter price!

The design style of MAEN is to bring contrasting styles together in their timepieces and the Manhattan 40 is no exception. Inspired by Manhattan, the design is a mix of bold and understated, of classic and contemporary. The watch features a flat bezel (available in polished or brushed finish), prominent faceted dauphine hands, polished indicators and a beautiful circular brushed matt dial. True to form, MAEN (old-Dutch for moon) has also included a moonphase complication option on the Manhattan 40.

Not only the design is interesting, the quality of the watch is also above expectation considering its price level. The Manhattan 40 has a Swiss Made Ronda movement under the hood and the dial is protected by a sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating. The case is made of 316L surgical grade stainless steel and the use of both brushed and polished details delivers a really beautiful contrast that adds depth to the overall look of the piece too.

The Manhattan 40 is available in 3 different models in stainless steel and gold and there are three different dial options. All watches come standard with a butterfly clasp and high-quality Italian leather strap that is curved between the lugs, enhancing the high-end feel of the watch.

MAEN Watches is offering some pretty stellar early-bird offers on Kickstarter right now, including a limited run of individually-numbered pieces.
