Earlier this month, we hosted a Cartier × Fratello event in Amsterdam to celebrate Cartier’s 50th anniversary in the Netherlands. The brand organized an experience called “Tank: The Journey of a Timeless Icon,” which allowed guests to discover the evolution of this enduring timepiece.

A warm welcome in Cartier style
We invited some of our readers to the beautiful Cartier boutique in Amsterdam for a panel talk with Anthony Santiso (head of image and style at Cartier’s headquarters), Kristian Haagen (Cartier expert and writer for several media titles), and Robert-Jan Broer. They discussed the history of the Cartier Tank model, its design codes, and the collection of Tank watches. The panel team also shared personal stories and anecdotes about the Tank watch.

Tank: The Journey of a Timeless Icon
For this event, Cartier displayed 14 Tank watches from its heritage collection and 36 models from the current Tank collections, from the Tank Must to the latest Tank à Guichets. While the 14 museum Tank pieces were for display purposes only, the guests could try all the other Tank models.

The Cartier boutique opened in this specific location in 2022 and consists of a 300m² space

We invited 25 of our readers to join this special evening with Cartier in Amsterdam
