IWC has been doing a lot of right things as of late, namely the 41mm Pilot Chrono, the 43mm Pilot, as well as experimenting with some innovative tech. I hope they pay attention to the Ingenieur line next.

Still hoping IWC will release a smaller (36mm+) vintage inspired time only watch with a lug to lug less than 45mm. Their current lineup of watches are too big for my skinny wrists.

    Yes, you’re right RJ. But that particular modern day watch has a lug to lug that feels like 47mm. I have tried it on before. It also has a date complication and uses a Sellita movement. I’m hoping for something simpler and less flashy — like a field watch. Maybe a Rolex Explorer or Tudor Ranger type of watch. I’d buy one in a second if it had a manufacture movement. IMHO, I think IWC focuses too much on their pilots watches and doesn’t have other “Adventure” watches.
