Introducing: The Organic Shades Of The Panerai Radiomir Bronzo PAM00760
Panerai has introduced the PAM00760 as a bronze take on the Radiomir, celebrating the 90th anniversary of the Bermudian ketch Eilean. The new Radiomir Bronzo keeps things simple on paper, with a hand-wound movement, a two-hander layout, and a familiar 47mm case, but its appeal lies in its use of color and texture.
Eilean is the Bermudian ketch that Panerai restored and has used for years as part of its involvement in classic regatta sailing. That maritime link shapes this entire watch, as is often the case with Panerai. Bronze makes obvious sense in that context, but what struck me most here is the color palette. The warm case, vignette green dial, blue hands, and beige lume create a combination that feels unusually organic.
Celebrating 90 years of Eilean
Panerai marks the 90th anniversary of Eilean by putting the yacht back into the classic regatta circuit for the 2026 season. The Bermudian ketch was originally built in 1936 by Fife of Fairlie and returns to a calendar that includes races across France, Italy, and Spain, beginning in Viareggio before ending in Cannes. For Panerai, this is clearly more than a ceremonial anniversary. The yacht reappears as a visible part of the brand’s sailing presence after its last appearance in 2018.
Panerai’s connection to regatta sailing goes back much further than this specific anniversary. The brand entered this realm in 2000 through the Laureus Regatta Panerai Trophy in Monaco and expanded that involvement in 2005 with the Classic Yachts Challenge, which ran for 14 years. Eilean joined that world in 2010. Naturally, the vessel’s 90th anniversary presents a great opportunity to release a special watch.
The Panerai Radiomir Bronzo PAM00760
The PAM00760 is all about materials, colors, and textures. Bronze is a fairly obvious choice because it evokes the historic construction of yachts, where the material was valued for its durability and resistance to seawater. Panerai has used bronze before, of course, and it makes a ton of sense here.
What gives this watch its personality is the combination of bronze with the vignette green dial. In familiar Panerai fashion, the dial is grainy with a dégradé effect, lighter in the center and darker at the edges. My regular readers will know that I am no fan of vignette dials, but I have to admit this one is well done. Add the blued hands, beige lume, and dark brown leather strap, and you end up with a watch that feels earthy and organic.
The PAM00760 also leans into Radiomir heritage. Panerai took inspiration from the 1935 ref. 2533 prototype and kept its oversized 47mm form factor. The Bronzo does not try to modernize the formula too much. Instead, it doubles down on vintage vibes and lets the unusual bronze-and-green palette do most of the talking.
Specifications of the Panerai Radiomir Bronzo PAM00760
The PAM00760 features a fully brushed bronze case with a titanium display back fitted with a sapphire crystal. Water resistance is rated to 100 meters. I know this is controversial among fans of dive watches, but it should suffice for classic yacht racing. Panerai fits the watch to a dark brown calfskin strap with beige stitching and a bronze pin buckle. Topping the watch is a vintage-spec domed acrylic crystal, and Panerai includes a second crystal that can be fitted later, free of charge, through its boutique or distributor network.
Inside ticks Panerai’s hand-wound P.3000 caliber, measuring 16½ lignes across and 5.3mm thick. It runs at 21,600 vibrations per hour and offers a 72-hour power reserve through twin barrels. A practical detail here is the quick-change hour adjustment, which lets the hour hand jump in one-hour steps without disturbing the minute hand. That’s handy when your ketch crosses time zones!
The shaded green dial has the familiar grainy surface and a sandwich construction. Large Arabic numerals and markers come with beige Super-LumiNova, which glows green in the dark.
Closing thoughts
The PAM00760 feels like one of those Panerai releases in which the brand’s storytelling and the watch itself line up quite neatly. Bronze, green, leather, acrylic, and a huge Radiomir case scream vintage, matching the classic yachting theme. The combination of bronze and green has an almost naturally weathered look. Honestly, I am not sure yet what I think of it. I will reserve judgment until I see one in real life. Watches with such specific texture and color combos often feel completely different in the metal than in press imagery.
At €19,500, the vintage vibes don’t come cheap, and the fact that it is a boutique-only release makes it even more niche. That makes some sense, though, because this is not a broad-market Panerai anyway. A 47mm bronze two-hander is a very specific proposition, especially in this color scheme.
