This year, at Watches and Wonders 2026, Parmigiani Fleurier arrived armed with a host of new releases to celebrate 30 years as a brand. Unlike many watches from other marques, though, these pieces are not modernized renditions of prior watches. Instead, as we’ll see, they offer hand-finished dials and precious metals, aside from but also including gold.

Admittedly, I vaguely knew of Parmigiani Fleurier early on in my collecting journey. However, the more intense focus only came about several years ago as the company adopted more minimalist designs. While the watches are certainly priced in a realm that qualifies them for luxury status, I enjoy their restrained appearance. Today’s references, celebrating 30 years, continue to espouse these elegant yet understated traits.

The Toric trilogy celebrates 30 years

While most of my attention typically finds its way to the Tonda PF, let’s not forget about the Toric. This lovely round watch is imbued with the same less-is-more dial design as its sportier relative. Here, Parmigiani presents three variants to celebrate its 30 years in business. All feature a hand-hammered 18K gold dial produced by a single artisan over 60 different steps. The result is a unique dial for each of the 30 pieces of each model.

The Toric Chronograph Rattrapante

The first is a platinum rattrapante (split-seconds) chronograph with a 42.5mm diameter and 14.4mm thickness. It has an agave-blue dial with both gold and steel hands. Functionally, aside from the regular hours and minutes, it displays 30-minute, 12-hour, and running-seconds sub-dials, as well as two elapsed-seconds hands in the center.

The movement is the stunning manual-winding PF361, which has openworked bridges and a heavy dose of anglage. The high-beat movement runs at 36,000 vibrations per hour and provides a 65-hour power reserve. Parmigiani has priced this watch at €178,300.

Next, the brand added an 18K rose gold hammered dial and 40.6mm by 10.9mm case to its Toric perpetual calendar. This limited edition of 30 pieces features two sub-dials showcasing the calendar information via gold-plated steel hands. Central hour and minute hands are crafted from 18K rose gold.

Inside, the watch uses the brand’s manual-winding PF733 caliber, which has a 60-hour power reserve and a frequency of 28,800 vph. The movement is visible through the case back’s sapphire display and shows off Clous de Paris hand-guilloché and anglage. This watch retails for €127,500.

The final Toric 30-year edition is a platinum model with small seconds. Parmigiani calls this dial hue Morning Blue and has applied it to a base of hammered 18K white gold. The watch has a lovely case design with 40.6mm by 8.8mm dimensions.

Like the other models, this reference is also limited to 30 pieces and uses a manual-winding movement. The twin-barrel PF780 also offers 60 hours of power reserve and runs at 28,800 vph. Architecturally, it is like the prior PF733 with its Clous de Paris hand-guilloché. It is paired with a pearl-gray alligator strap and a platinum pin buckle. At €84,700, this model is the least expensive of the trio.

The Platinum Tonda PF trio begins with the Chronographe Mystérieux

Earlier this week, I wrote an in-depth article about the new Chronographe Mystérieux from Parmigiani. Therefore, I won’t go into all the details about how the movement and complication work, but it’s safe to say that this watch did not disappoint in person. The way the rhodium hands retreat to the top of the dial to begin work as a chronograph is magical. Leaving behind rose gold hands for normal timekeeping duty is the chef’s kiss.

While the steel model is the regular-production piece, the complication gets the platinum 30-year treatment as well. The 30 examples of this 40mm by 13mm model each feature a sandblasted natural platinum dial. Inside, the same beautifully decorated PF053 automatic movement is at work. At €112,400, this is a significant but lovely step up from the blue-dial steel piece.

The Tonda PF GMT Rattrapante Platinum receives the 30-year treatment

The brand’s equally lovely Tonda PF GMT Rattrapante is also available as a platinum limited edition with a matching platinum dial. he wearer can engage the 7:30 pusher to adjust the upper (silver-tone) hour hand to the local time. This reveals a rose gold hand with home time. A crown-mounted pusher then restores the upper hour hand, hiding the gold one upon returning home.

With 40mm by 10.7mm dimensions, this has a similar feel to the chronograph. Yet, even with its additional button, the watch still has a 60m water resistance rating. It uses the PF051, an automatic caliber adorned with Côtes de Genève, perlage, and anglage. It has 48 hours of power reserve and a frequency of 21,600 vph. This GMT Rattrapante retails for €102,700.

The Tonda PF Minute Rattrapante Platinum – the final chapter

For the last platinum piece, Parmigiani lent its focus to the Tonda PF Minute Rattrapante. This watch uses pushers on the side of the case to advance a formerly hidden minute hand in either five- or one-minute increments. Once the hand has been set, it becomes a countdown timer. A crown-mounted pusher sends the countdown hand back to its place underneath the current time minute hand. Inside the 40mm by 10.7mm case lies the PF052 micro-rotor automatic movement. It’s in the same family as the other Tonda PF calibers in the platinum trio. Therefore, expect a power reserve of 48 hours and a frequency of 21,600 vph. This watch will cost €105,000.

A first in gold — the Tonda PF Chronograph

While the final release is not expressly made to celebrate 30 years, it’s worth mentioning. For the first time, Parmigiani is producing a gold 40mm Tonda PF Chronograph. In fact, it’s rose gold and is paired with a gorgeous Mineral Blue dial that features a hand-guilloché Grain d’Orge pattern. It also comes on a beautiful matching bracelet. As for the chronograph functionality, the watch shows running seconds and is equipped with 30-minute and 12-hour totalizers. The automatic PF070 movement is a COSC-certified chronometer with a 65-hour power reserve. It’s also a true high-beat movement, ticking at 36,000 vph. Water resistance is superb at 100 meters. Expect to pay €79,000 for this one.

Final thoughts

In my opinion, Parmigiani delivered the goods for its 30th anniversary. The watches, as always, are clean, devoid of extraneous messaging, and wonderfully styled. Where color has been added, the choices are tasteful and elegant. All told, the brand unveiled one of the best sets of releases this year at Watches and Wonders 2026.
