Our friends over at Revolution and The Rake will be holding a charity auction in the week of June 15th. The proceeds of the auction will go to the countries affected the most.

Covid19 has taken over our lives, at least for most of us. It has affected a lot of us. Whether that’s by illness or loss, or decline in income, this virus has taken a lot away from us. I did not see my parents for the last four months — but I consider myself lucky that I at least still have them in good health — and our business is definitely affected by the lockdown. For a lot of people, things are a lot worse though. And for those people, Revolution and The Rake are trying to raise funds to offer some help.

Covid19 Solidarity Auction

You can find all relevant details on the Revolution website. At the end of this article, you will find the appropriate link to that. The watches to be auctioned are donated by the e-boutiques from Revolution and The Rake. But also directly from brands and CEOs from brands. Georges Kern, for example, donates his personal Navitimer PAN AM. Panerai donates a prototype of the Carbotech 44mm blue index Luminor Marina PAM 1661 that was recently introduced.

The others

Other watches that will be up for auction are: Bamford’s unique GMT, a Girard-Perregaux Place Girardet Prototype with Special Engraving “E Pluribus Unum”, a factory prototype Hublot Aerofusion Chronograph “Molon Labe” titanium and bronze limited edition, a Reservoir prototype bronze Hydrosphere × The Rake × Fari Islands edition with stay and dive trip, a Sinn 155 “Dark Star” Bundeswehr Chronograph, a prototype of the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph “Blue Dreamer”, and more. We also noticed that people are offering pieces from their personal collections. That’s a wonderful gesture!

Givergy

The auction begins on June 15th, hosted by Givergy. This is a platform that specializes in hosting online charity auctions and take care of financial transactions. All information on the auction is in this article on Revolution. I hope that the watch auction will be as successful as the one held earlier this year by our friends from Time+Tide.
