Omega De Ville Tourbillon Ref. 5133.30.00

Up for auction is this red gold Omega De Ville with central tourbillon movement, caliber 2600. It is a numbered edition watch, with a hand-guilloché silver dial.  The number of the watch (02 in this case) is indicated on the dial. Two sapphire discs rotate the hour and minute hands. This transparent disc also enables the wearer to have a glance at the central tourbillon mechanism.

This Omega De Ville Tourbillon reference 5133.30.00 has a diameter of 38.7mm and comes on the famous Omega brick bracelet in red gold. This bracelet was inspired by the original Constellation Grand Luxe from the early 1950’s.

Catawiki auctions this watch on February 11th and estimates it between €60.000 and €78.000. We feel that this estimate is relatively high, as there are no papers with this watch. However, only few have been auctioned in the past, so who knows.

Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Traditionnelle Chronograph

This Vacheron Constantin with reference 47192/000B-9352 looks a bit awkward at first, with its white gold case with rose gold crown and pushers. A combination we rarely come across. However, the color of the crown and pushers match perfectly with its rose gold hands and hour markers. This 42mm white gold case houses the Vacheron Constantin caliber 1141 movement. A manual wound chronograph movement that has a power reserve of approximately 48 hours. The Patrimony Traditionelle Chronograph comes on a dark brown alligator strap, with white gold folding clasp.
According to Catawiki’s description, it concerns a watch in brand new condition, never worn. The Vacheron Constantin reference 47192 comes with box and papers, a full set. Catawiki’s estimate is between €26.000 and €34.000.

Richard Mille – RM016 – Automatic Extra Flat

Up next is the Richard Mille RM 016, their first attempt for a rectangular (extra flat) case. A case that requires 202 separate machine operations, and which took about 18 days of machine adjustments before they could even start. The base plate of this movement, even as the bridges and balance-cock are made of titanium. The screws that go into the titanium case are also made of Grade 5 titanium, allowing better control of the torque when these are mounted. Richard Mille creates these high-tech watches that are inspired by motor sports and yachting, using state-of-the-art materials for all parts of the watch.

This watch measures only 8.25mm in height (L49.8mm x W38mm) and comes on a rubber strap with titanium folding clasp. Catawiki’s descriptions mentions this is a full set, with box and papers. They estimate it between €38.000 and €50.000. It was originally bought in 2014 at Gassan and according to the seller only worn a few times.

Breguet Classique Perpetual Calendar For Chaumet

This Breguet, reference 3050, was supposedly a customized watch for Chaumet. A small (36mm) yet interesting complication piece from Breguet, with a perpetual calendar based on the Frederic Piguet caliber 71 movement, also known as Breguet’s caliber 502 movement. This movement is manufactured at Breguet and often used in the ultra-thin Classique models.
The Breguet Classique Perpetual Calendar you see here is in 18 carat yellow gold and comes as a full set. It comes on the original black alligator strap with 18 carat yellow gold Breguet signed pin buckle. Produced somewhere in the mid-1990s probably, this watch is not for everyone with its 36mm diameter, but it does make an awesome dress watch if you can pull it off. Catawiki estimates this Breguet Classique Perpetual Calendar ref.5030 between €23.000 and €30.000.

Roger Dubuis Sympathie Bi-Retro Perpetual Calender Chronograph

Before Roger Dubuis teamed up with Pirelli and Lamborghini, they created some wonderful master pieces such as this Sympathie Bi-Retro Perpetual Calendar Chronograph model with reference S43 5610 0. Made in very small quantities at the time (approximately 2002), this Roger Dubuis Sympathie with perpetual complication (with day and date in retrograde) was only produced in a limited edition series of 28 pieces. The tonneau shaped case is made of 18 carat white gold and has a diameter of 43mm (not 40mm as the Catawiki description states).

Inside this Roger Dubuis ticks their caliber RD5610 movement, with perpetual calendar function including day, date, week, month and leap-year indicator as well as the moon phases at 12 o’clock. The movement bears the Seal of Geneva quality hallmark and has a beautiful finish and decoration. Catawiki estimates this Sympathie Bi-Retro Perpetual Calendar between €30.000 and €40.000.

Rolex – Daytona Reference 116505

A watch that virtually needs no introduction is the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona. Catawiki’s Prestigious Watch Auction offers this 18 carat Everose gold version, reference 116505 with pink panda dial. This 40mm gold chronograph has Rolex’ in-house manufacture caliber 4130 movement and comes on an Everose oyster bracelet. Everose is Rolex’ own alloy for rose gold. Where rose gold tends to turn yellow over time (and wear), Everose will always maintain its rose gold color.

This Rolex Daytona 116505 is dated 2017 and still comes with the full 5 years of warranty. Rolex warrantees an accuracy of -2/+2 seconds deviation per day on average, with this chronometer movement. Although the retail price of this Rolex Daytona is €34600, Catawiki estimates it between €28000 and €37000, probably due to the high demand for the Daytona.

This is a full set and the watch has never been worn.
