Fratello Talks: If We Could Only Keep One Watch From Our Collection

What if you had to choose just one watch from your entire collection and let everything else go? No backups, no rotation, and no keeping that one watch you rarely wear “just in case.” In this episode of Fratello Talks, Nacho, RJ, and Daan take on that particularly difficult hypothetical. The interesting part is that choosing one watch isn’t necessarily about picking the most expensive, technically impressive, or historically significant piece. A collection can contain watches that serve very different purposes, and personal attachment can matter just as much as specifications. Daan has the Oris Artelier Art Blakey Edition on his wrist. The watch pays tribute to jazz drummer Art Blakey, featuring design details inspired by the musician and his work. It is part of Oris’s long-running series of watches celebrating figures from the world of jazz.

RJ is wearing his Omega Speedmaster Apollo 11 50th Anniversary in 18K Moonshine Gold. This watch debuted in 2019 to mark five decades since the Apollo 11 Moon landing. Will this be “the one” to keep for RJ? Tune in to find out.

Nacho is wearing his Breitling Aerospace F65362, a multifunction quartz chronograph from the brand’s Professional collection. With its titanium case, digital displays, and analog hands, the Aerospace takes a very different approach to the traditional mechanical watches represented elsewhere in the episode.
