They pick watches for Bond villains, considering the characters’ personalities and the details that might make a particular watch a good fit. We won’t reveal their choices here. Wrist check
RJ is wearing the new Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Bond Edition. At a glance, you’d be hard-pressed to recognize it as such. Omega kept the references on the dial fairly subtle, with the Bond family crest on the 12 o’clock marker. Only when you flip it over and see the gun-barrel rifling with the “007” logo on the rotor does it become clear.
Jorg has the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Spectre Edition, the watch that inspired today’s discussion topic. Another subtle take on the Bond theme, this one also has to be flipped over to reveal Spectre’s octopus logo on the rotor.
Nacho is wearing his Hamilton Khaki Field Auto. It’s been a long time since he’s worn this watch, but every year when fall rolls around, something calls him to it. This is the brand’s classic field watch with a slightly more modern twist, and it’s a great alternative to its more popular hand-wound counterpart.
