Is it September already? Well, not quite, but Geneva Watch Days 2023 is here, meaning we’re two-thirds through the year already. It also means that a tidal wave of watch releases is headed this way. So get warmed up, wax your board, and get ready to surf the wave right here on Fratello. Over the coming days, we’ll bring you the news on the latest releases from all your favorite watch brands. This is the fourth annual Geneva Watch Days fair, and much like a snowball rolling downhill, the event has grown in size and momentum.

This year, the self-described “decentralized and self-managed multi-brand watch event” takes place from the 29th of August until the 2nd of September. Unlike the three previous fairs, this will be the most accessible one yet. The GWD pavilion will be open to the public, and guided tours will allow watch enthusiasts and curious bystanders to discover the brand’s novelties. So if you’re in Geneva next week, head to the pavilion in the Rotonde du Mont-Blanc. And if you see us running around, make sure to say hi!

Geneva Watch Days 2023

At this point, the yearly event needs no introduction. But as a brief reminder or for those joining us for the first time, Geneva Watch Days first took place in 2020. The founding brands — Breitling, Bvlgari, De Bethune, Gérald Genta, H. Moser & Cie., MB&F, Ulysse Nardin, and Urwerk — created this event after Baselworld and Watches and Wonders were canceled due to the pandemic. Now the event embraces this post-lockdown world with a live event. Here, 40 different brands allow journalists and enthusiasts to take a hands-on look at their novelties. Several events will also take place during the week, including symposiums, presentations, and even a special brunch on the final day.

For now, here is a list of exhibiting brands to get you all excited:

Angelus, Armin Strom, Arnold & Son, Artime, Bausele, Bianchet, Breitling, Bulgari, Byrne, Konstantin Chaykin, Claude Meylan, Corum, Czapek & Cie, De Bethune, Doxa, Frédérique Constant Group, Girard-Perregaux, Greubel Forsey, Hautlence, HYT, Jacob & Co, Krayon, Laurent Ferrier, Louis Erard, Massena Lab, Maurice Lacroix, MB&F, H. Moser & Cie., Oris, Perrelet, Raketa, Reservoir, Ressence, Singer, Trilobe, Ulysse Nardin, and Urwerk.

A handful of other brands external to the event will also exhibit their latest work.
