Fratello Talks: Watches And Wonders 2023 Debrief Part 1 — Piaget, Tudor, Jaeger-LeCoultre, And More!
The Fratello boys (and girls) are back in town! And as the fog of war begins to settle, we’ve convened and gathered our thoughts on last week’s watch fair. This is the Watches and Wonders 2023 debrief episode. In keeping with the short-form format of Fratello Talks, we don’t get to cover every single one of the novelties. Instead, we discuss some of our highlights from the show. These range from the novelties that we knew were coming and still surprised us to those that seemingly came out of nowhere to become our favorites and everything in between. So grab your beverage of choice, put on your headphones, and click, tap, or bark the command at your smart device of choice, and have a listen to this week’s episode of Fratello Talks!
In case you missed anything, you can find our coverage of Watches and Wonders 2023 here.
As you know by now, it wouldn’t be a watch-related podcast without a contractually-mandated wrist check. Daan, Sinara, and Nacho gather around the Fratello podcasting table for today’s episode. Daan is wearing his artsy Oris Atelier Art Blakey (ref. 0173377624081-Z) on a Joseph Bonnie Bonklip bracelet. Sinara is wearing her latest from Swatch and the brand’s collab with MoMA, the Reverie by Roy Lichtenstein, The Watch. And Nacho is wearing his burgundy bronze Fratello × Oris “Fratelloris” Big Crown Bronze Pointer Date on the OEM gray nubuck strap.
Watches and Wonders 2023 debrief
With favorites from Piaget, Jaeger-LeCoultre, and Tudor, this week’s podcasters are still in the Watches and Wonders 2023 mood. So rest assured you won’t just be hearing about their favorite watch from the show. You’ll also get to learn about the experience of attending the year’s biggest watch event, as well as what it’s like to get your hands on the most anticipated releases before everyone else. Plus, with several honorable mentions and some of their highlights from the fair-adjacent brands, it’s a complete rundown of this third of the Fratello team’s entire coterie on the ground in Geneva.
Tune in next week for part two, where RJ, Lex, and a third guest will discuss their experience in Palexpo’s halls and the horological highlights they encountered within.
Until then, keep on ticking in the free world!
