The Top 5 Watches Released During Geneva Watch Days 2026

Another Friday, another list! This week was a busy one in the watch world. After a well-deserved summer break, the industry shifted into overdrive during Geneva Watch Days. A total of 71 brands participated in this week’s event with new releases. Many more also used the buzz in Geneva to unveil their new creations. As a result, we have seen a ton of great new watches. While it’s hard to pick just a handful, we managed to assemble our weekly Top 5 list in the end. These are our favorites from Geneva Watch Days 2026.

Before we jump into our Top 5 today, allow me a quick word on how we picked them. If we were being strict, we would’ve only picked watches from the participating brands. As I said, though, many brands have used the event’s momentum to put a spotlight on their new creations. It makes the number of new releases far bigger than the sum of novelties from the 71 participating brands, which is already huge. But with this list, we simply want to highlight the releases that stood out to us during this week.

Laurent Ferrier Classic Moon Dusk

We’ll start the list with a new version of a watch we already know. The Laurent Ferrier Classic Moon Dusk shows what a change of colors and materials can do to a watch. As Walid explained, this release presents a warmer overall aesthetic for the Classic Moon, with an 18K yellow gold case housing a taupe-to-chocolate opaline gradient dial and a rather special moonphase display. The result is a deeply impressive 20-piece limited edition that feels fresh and new.

The basics for the Classic Moon stay the same for this new variation, with the signature pebble-shaped 40mm Classic case and the manually wound LF126.02 caliber with its annual calendar and moonphase functions. The classically styled case, inspired by 19th-century pocket watches, looks particularly elegant in yellow gold and is meticulously finished. It is the gracious canvas for the spectacular dial. The opaline surface gradually transitions from a light taupe center to a wonderful dark brown towards the edge, and the slim Roman numerals are executed in white. The minute track is light taupe, just like the dial’s center, while the brand’s logo matches the chocolate-brown tone of the dial’s perimeter.

A classy, wonderfully executed color scheme

This classy color scheme continues with the opaline day and month discs at 12 o’clock. They are executed in a dark chocolate tone with contrasting white markings to ensure legibility. Special attention goes to the stunning date numerals. Their style, while rooted in history, feels as relevant as ever. They are transferred in pale yellow, with the numeral 31 in ochre to mark the end of the month.

The dial’s absolute highlight is the moonphase indicator integrated into the sub-seconds register at 6 o’clock. It uses gold-sheen obsidian for the moon disc and is partly covered by an anise-yellow plique-à-jour enamel moon bridge. The work and detail that went into creating this stunning moonphase display is spectacular. Walid even dedicated two full paragraphs to explaining all the details, which should tell you all you need to know. Hovering over this wonderful dial are white gold hands for the time and a yellow gold hand for the date.

The Laurent Ferrier LF126.02 caliber

Making all the magic possible is the wonderful Laurent Ferrier LF126.02. This beautifully finished manual-winding movement is visible through the case back’s sapphire display. It operates at 21,600 vph and offers an 80-hour power reserve. In addition to all the front-facing magic, the caliber has a power-reserve indicator on the rear. It’s the same movement that powered previous versions of the Classic Moon. While I really liked those, this new Dusk variant is truly something else. If I had the CHF 93,000 needed to buy one (plus more for taxes), I’d do it in a heartbeat. This is an absolutely stunning version of the Laurent Ferrier Classic Moon.

Berneron Mirage Miroir

Our next pick is the new Berneron Mirage Miroir. Just like the Laurent Ferrier, it is a new version of an existing model. This new Mirage Miroir goes beyond simply introducing a new dial variant. As Walid explained, the new caliber 283 features a mirrored architecture, transforming the movement into the dial itself. The two watches, available in yellow and white gold, also come on a seven-row bracelet to match the case material. It adds a new dimension to the Mirage’s already remarkable presence.

As with previous releases, it all starts with the signature asymmetrical 34mm Mirage case, with an ultra-thin 7mm profile. Instead of pairing the case with a stunning dial, as the brand has done in previous years, Sylvain Berneron created a new mirrored construction for its caliber 283 that takes center stage. While it’s easy to assume that it simply flips the existing asymmetrical movement, that is not how it works. If it were, Berneron would need to flip the case too. Instead, Berneron devised the caliber 283 with the mirrored concept in mind, giving the dial side a distinct identity and making this a truly new creation.

Every part of the architecture gets an additional purpose

I love that Berneron chose not to skeletonize the caliber. Instead, every last part has been reconsidered, including its technical and decorative role in the overall composition. As Walid explained, the guilloché sector pattern and divisions in the plates and bridges mark the hours, and there is no regular seconds hand. The seconds wheel is visible, and its rotation shows the caliber is running. As a result, the movement architecture becomes the display, essentially giving it an additional purpose.

Berneron also used an inverted handset that places the hour hand above the minute hand. However, this was not merely to serve the concept but also to make the caliber thinner. The new caliber 283 comprises 135 parts, with its 2.83mm thickness inspiring its name. It operates at 21,600 vph, has 17 jewels, and offers a 72-hour power reserve.

The stunning seven-row bracelet

Completing the composition is an arresting seven-row brick bracelet or a nice leather strap. We love the look of the Mirage on this new, brilliantly executed bracelet. It goes a long way in making the Mirage feel new. We have seen similar transformations recently for the Cartier Tank Normale, the Patek Philippe Golden Ellipse, and the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Monoface. An elegant, precious-metal bracelet can change a watch’s look in the best way possible.

This time, it is no different. It completes the look of an outstanding watch. On leather, though, the new Berneron Mirage Miroir still looks great and retails for CHF 72,500. With the 18K gold bracelet, the price is CHF 130,250. Berneron will create 36 pieces of this brilliant watch per year over the next decade. We would be surprised if they do not sell out almost instantly.

anOrdain Model 1 Porcelain

Our next pick is significantly more affordable, but the artistry that went into creating the anOrdain Model 1 Porcelain × Kia Tasbihgou is no less impressive. The story of the new Model 1 is all about the dial. The stunning porcelain dial was created in-house at the brand’s workshop in Glasgow, with the help of designer Kia Tasbihgou.

When the anOrdain team started thinking of designers they wanted to collaborate with, Tasbihgou was at the top of the list. The Amsterdam-based creative worked for big companies like Nike, Christie’s, and Vanity Fair. He also created several unused album/single covers for the famous R&B artist Frank Ocean.

Kia Tasbihgou excels in creating modern typography firmly rooted in history. For this Model 1’s porcelain dial, Tasbihgou took inspiration from the typography of classic Breguet pocket watches and developed his take on the iconic numeral style. The blue execution on white porcelain adds to the traditional feel, but as soon as you zoom in on the individual numerals and the minute track, you see modern touches that make this release distinct.

The canvas is anOrdain’s Model 1, with a 38 × 47.4 × 11mm stainless steel case. While traditional in its shape, the case has angular touches that also make it feel contemporary. Even with its traditionally executed dial, the watch never felt like a traditional dress watch to me. The modern-day context plays a role in that, but so do subtle design cues that cleverly change the overall feel.

An initial run of 70 pieces

Inside the case, you will find the standard automatic La Joux-Perret G101 or the decorated version of that caliber, which anOrdain named the A1. As these are technically the same movement, both operate at 28,800 vph (4Hz) and offer a 68-hour power reserve.

I was lucky enough to review the watch on its supple black leather strap, and it left me deeply impressed. The creative work and artistry that went into creating the porcelain dial are truly stunning. AnOrdain created an initial run of 70 pieces priced at US$2,950 with the G101 and US$3,400 with the A1 (ex. taxes). The brand will also release additional pieces in small numbers each month. I expect them to sell immediately after becoming available. The Model 1 Porcelain really is that good!

Daniel Roth Extra Plat Rose Gold Gilt

Another stunning release with a new dial is the Daniel Roth Extra Plat Rose Gold Gilt. But you know it’s never as simple as it sounds when it involves Daniel Roth. Just as with the Laurent Ferrier Classic Moon Dusk, a new dial color completely transforms the watch. We’re talking about the Daniel Roth Extra Plat, introduced early last year in yellow gold. Only a few months later, the brand also unveiled the watch in rose gold, and it made Robert-Jan smile.

Both watches were visually light, airy versions of the Extra Plat. This year, the brand introduces a stunning black gilt dial that completely transforms the watch. I’m a huge fan of black and gold, so it’s probably no surprise that I love it. The watch has the familiar 35.5 × 38.6mm double-ellipse case with a striking 7.7mm profile. The finish beautifully emphasizes the case design that has become the brand’s signature.

A beautiful gilt dial

For this new creation, the case is paired with a gold base dial. It features a beautifully executed pinstripe guilloché pattern created by a single artisan using a traditional rose engine. After that, the dial receives multiple electroplating treatments to achieve the deep black color.

During the process, the Roman numerals are masked. Once the dials are ready, the masking is removed, revealing them. Completing the dial are the brand name and unique limited-production number, with wonderfully elegant gold hour and minute hands hovering above it all.

Turning the watch around provides a clear view of the DR002 caliber developed specifically for the Daniel Roth Extra Plat at La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton. It comprises 143 components, operates at 28,800 vph, and offers a 65-hour power reserve. As you would expect, it is hand-finished beautifully. But the true magic of this new release is the stunning new dial. The new Daniel Roth Extra Plat Rose Gold Gilt is limited in production but not to a specific number. It retails for CHF 55,000 (ex. taxes).

M.A.D.3 Vincent Calabrese

Our last pick is the M.A.D.3 Vincent Calabrese, which looks surprisingly traditional for a creation from M.A.D.Editions. Don’t be fooled, though, because there are still some modern creative twists. This collaborative effort pays homage to 82-year-old watchmaker Vincent Calabrese. He was a co-founder of the famous AHCI (Académie Horlogère des Créateurs Indépendants) in 1985 and is widely regarded as one of the most distinctive creative minds in watchmaking.

For the M.A.D.3, the team at M.A.D.Editions created a watch with Vincent Calabrese’s signature Baladin complication. It takes the classic jumping hour and makes it less abrupt by allowing the hour window to travel around the dial. By creating a more fluid transition between the hours, the watch feels more alive and displays the passage of time more progressively.

The unique way of displaying the time

MB&F collaborator Eric Giroud designed a 40 × 43.7 × 12.7mm stainless steel case with a stepped bezel and floating lugs for this watch. It’s a classically elegant case with some nice modern touches that wears like a dream, as I explained in my hands-on review. It is paired with a multilayered dial. It starts with a white bombé minute ring, crafted from sapphire, with a black minute track.

Surprisingly, this ring lights up blue in the dark. The blue center disc features an aperture displaying the jumping hours. Located directly above it is a white arrow, which points to the minutes on the white outer ring. Lastly, the large arrow-tipped central minute hand indicates the seconds.

The technical challenges of the Baladin complication

The biggest technical challenge was to modify an off-the-shelf caliber. As you might know, Büsser and his team focus on affordable technical wizardry with M.A.D.Editions. The base for this project is the automatic La Joux-Perret G111 movement that was completely reworked to withstand the greater energy demands of the complication.

On top of that, the MB&F-developed module for jumping hours and trailing minutes was completely redesigned and reengineered to achieve the higher production numbers required for this project. As I explained in my hands-on review, the technical team even developed new components specifically for the M.A.D.3 to ensure reliability, energy transmission, and long-term stability. It shows the dedication of the M.A.D.Editions team to achieve this caliber without compromising on the visual smoothness of the passage of time.

The unique character displayed in the M.A.D.3: Vincent Calabrese

The caliber is visible through the sapphire display in the case back. The movement features a custom black rotor, and if you look through its openings, you will see a sentence underneath. It says:“Il est assez aisé de plaire aux autres, bien plus ardu d’être fier de soi…” This translates to, “It is fairly easy to please others, far more difficult to be proud of oneself…” This perfectly represents Calabrese’s character and also fits M.A.D.Editions as a creative collaborative project.
