As you can see, the PanoMatic Luna is one of Glashütte Original’s ladies’ watches. The version we have here, is the latest addition to that collection. A Boutique Edition, that will – as its name suggests – only be available through the official Glashütte Original boutiques.
Like any other PanoMatic Luna watch, it measures 39.4mm in diameter. However, the boutique edition comes with a beautiful blue mother-of-pearl dial. Let’s have a look.
The GO PanoMatic Luna is one of the three ladies’ collections from the Glashütte manufacture. The other ones, the Pavonina and Lady Serenade are perhaps more traditional ladies’ watches. With sleek and slender designed cases and smaller diameters. The 39.4mm PanoMatic Luna is based on one of the original GO watches that belong their Art & Technic collection, the PanoMaticLunar.
This watch, and especially the boutique edition, is about the dial. A stunning pale blue mother-of-pearl dial with 18 brillant-cut diamonds. The 18 diamonds are divided over 9 hour markers, as the small seconds intersect the hour and minutes dial. On the top right, at 2 o’clock you will find the beautiful moonphases indicator. On the moonphase disc, an array of stars around the Moon. The non-boutique editions are available with a white dial and a darker hue MoP dial.
The GO PanoMatic Luna has a total of 83 brilliant-cut diamonds. 18 are on the dial, one is in the crown and 64 of them are set in the bezel. In total, there is 1.09 carats of diamond on the PanoMatic Luna boutique edition. The winding and setting crown has a 3mm diamond. Glashütte Original chose stainless steel for the case of this watch, instead of a precious metal. This surely keeps the price down a notch, but also will make it a great wearable daily watch for ladies.
While we still see a lot of quartz movements for ladies’ watches, this Glashütte Original PanoMatic Luna has a manufacture mechanical movement inside. Caliber 90-12 can be seen through the display back of this watch. It has a decentralized rotor with a 21ct gold swing mass with the famous skeletonized double G. The balance bridge is hand-engraved. True to Glashütte watchmaking, this caliber 90-12 also has a three-quarter plate, blue screws and the typical Glashütte striped finish.
The retail price of the Glashütte Original PanoMatic Luna Boutique Edition is €17,500.- Euro (incl VAT), which is the same as the regular editions. It is only available through the official GO boutiques world wide. The PanoMatic Luna Boutique Edition comes on a matching blue alligator strap.
