Inspired by the stopwatches that the manufacturer from Bienne made for timekeeping events, specifically for the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal and Innsbruck, Omega presents their Seamaster Olympic Games Collection. Five Seamaster Olympic Games watches, in the colors of the Olympic Rings (blue, yellow, black, green and red).

Each watch has this domed black and white dial, just like the stopwatches, and a colored ring on the outer white dial. At 6 o’clock, the ring is broken by the Olympic rings logo in a mono color. This ring can also be used a a pulse reader, as it has small 20 seconds intervals, enabling the sporty wearer to easily measure and calculate their pulse beats-to-minute. The wording ‘Seamaster’ and the seconds hand are also in the corresponding color. Large white Arabic numerals are on the black inner section of the dial, giving great readability. A date aperture with white disc and black printing is located at 6 o’clock, in the black inner dial as well.

Omega Seamaster Olympic GamesOn the caseback, you’ll find an anodized aluminum ring which includes all known Olympic Games cities and dates where Omega was and will be timekeeper. From Los Angeles in 1932 up to Los Angeles in 2028.

All watches are equipped with the Co-Axial Master Chronometer caliber 8800 movement. A case size of 39,5mm makes this a perfect watch for basically every wrist size. As the official time-keeping contract runs till 2032, Omega decided to create 2032 pieces of each Seamaster Olympic Games watch. The unique number will be engraved on the caseback.

The Omega Seamaster Olympic Games watch comes on a sporty looking perforated leather strap, with a color that matches the dial.
