I have an original that I purchased when I was flying in Vietnam (4/69 to 4/70). I am having it refurbished, and am concerned about water damage that it incurred when I was wearing it (never went in the water with it on). It's supposed to be waterproof, but I guess that its age is showing, with lack of a tight seal being the problem. I wonder what it's worth? Anyway, this is a great watch; I wouldn't wear any other, even though I'm not flying through time zones any more.

Sharp. I've always liked the Glycine Airman, not enough to buy one, but I liked it nonetheless. ;-)
